School-Age Child Care Program Director

Duties performed:

  • Supervised up to 90 staff members and maintained all timesheets/payroll information for each staff member

  • Managed and maintained all budgets for school-age daycare programs (to include meals, supplies, equipment, etc.)

  • Audited and managed all staff and student records regularly to ensure compliance with governing agencies

  • Performed all accounts receivable functions, both from clients and government-subsidized agencies (CCDS)

  • Executed all licensing and safety inspections for each of the 30 different school-age care sites

  • Performed duties pertaining to recruiting, hiring, counseling, initiating personal growth plans, training, and employment dissolution procedures

During my tenure as the School-Age Child Care Director at the YMCA, I held the responsibility of overseeing, sunsetting, and implementing both new and existing campus-based after-school and summer child care programs. This encompassed active involvement in the recruitment process for participants, staff, and volunteers. Additionally, I conducted professional development sessions for staff employees and meticulously maintained time card information, contributing to seamless operations related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable duties associated with my program.
