Human Resources and Training Director

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Leadership:

  • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate personnel files, employment records, and confidential documentation.

  • Manage compensation, attendance tracking, and benefits administration in coordination with leadership.

  • Develop and implement company policies aligned with federal and state labor laws.

  • Lead investigations and documentation of employee conduct, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.

  • Support leadership in workforce planning and succession management.

Onboarding & Orientation:

  • Develop and facilitate new-hire orientation to integrate employees into the company culture and safety practices.

  • Ensure all new employees complete necessary forms, background checks, and initial training requirements.

  • Provide clear communication of company policies, benefits, and performance expectations.

Training & Development:

  • Design, coordinate, and track all employee training programs, including technical, safety, and professional development courses.

  • Manage the company’s Work-Based Learning and Mentorship Program, connecting apprentices and trainees with skilled mentors.

  • Deliver OSHA and safety training for compliance, certification renewals, and jobsite readiness.

  • Maintain training records in accordance with OSHA, state, and company retention standards.

  • Assess ongoing training needs and implement targeted programs to improve performance and skill development.

Compliance & Recordkeeping:

  • Ensure compliance with all HR, safety, and employment-related regulations.

  • Maintain OSHA logs, employee training certifications, and required reporting documentation.

  • Serve as the HR contact for internal and external audits related to safety, employment, or training compliance.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and professional work environment consistent with Ash Electric LLC’s mission and values.

  • Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on conflict resolution, communication, and performance management.

  • Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.

I oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and OSHA compliance. I design and deliver training programs that go beyond regulatory requirements, creating a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning. Through our work-based learning and mentorship programs, I help connect apprentices and journeymen, fostering both technical growth and leadership development.
