During my tenure at Texas State Technical College, my primary role involved delivering comprehensive and proactive support and assistance to students throughout their academic journey, from entry to completion and employment. As an advisor, I engaged students in academic planning, interpreted assessments, clarified their career and transfer goals, and provided referrals to holistic resources. My approach aimed at ensuring students received the necessary guidance to make informed decisions about their education and future.

In addition to my advisory responsibilities, I served as the course instructor for PSYT1313. This course was strategically designed to equip students with essential skills, including time management, proficiency in technology relevant to their college courses, career investigation, resume writing, job interview skills, and critical thinking.

As an instructor, my goal was to empower students not only academically but also personally and professionally, fostering a well-rounded educational experience that led to successful postsecondary credentialing and career attainment. Overall, my commitment was to enhance students' success by offering support, guidance, and valuable skills throughout their educational journey at Texas State Technical College.
